Durante el choque del asteroide Apophis contra la tierra, un sobreviviente escapa al espacio en busca de nuevos senderos para la vida humana. Su nave, el Kabod No.7 se pierde en el espacio y el tiempo en un viaje sin retorno hacia el infinito. Enviando señales de vida desde la camara del Kabod, nuestro protagonísta busca alguna respuesta en los confines de las galaxias, algún ser que al menos escuche su canto en medio del ether. El Kabod se interna en un agujero negro… a que parte del universo nos llevará?…
The Caribbean Computer, Parte II: Al Caribe Volveré.
La inmensa soledad y el silencio ingrávido aplastan al tripulante del Kabod No.7, ahora sus sentidos no existen, ha muerto en vida, él es solo recuerdos y emociones que habitan en su pasado, ahora no hay caminos solo una profunda oscuridad que se adueña de la nave, su búsqueda de vida es en vano, los planetas que recorre son fríos témpanos de hielo, tristes masas gélidas e inhabitables.
Sus recuerdos lo atormentan por que no tiene otro hábitat. y se ahoga en ellos:
“será que volveré algún día?, al Caribe?, será que existe esa posibilidad?”… por ahora solo quedará volver en la mente hasta el Caribe cálido de bellas playas, junto a mi familia, mi hogar, mi templo, lo mas sagrado.
Es un náufrago que nada en lo mas profundo de sus pensamientos, y su cuerpo es esa nave que se vuelve estela del infinito.
